Sin of omission? 12 March 2017

Yesterday, being Saturday, was still a day of Lent. Today, being Sunday, is a day off Lent (even if I’m sure I blogged last Sunday…) Yesterday I failed to blog. In fact having done a extra day’s work for a Discovery Day (formally an Applicant Visit Day) at uni, a day designed to help convert offers of places made into accepted offers, I did not fail to blog, I chose not to do so. I can’t say the day was especially busy (I’d be lying) but neither was it dead, nor a waste of time. There were some good conversations and engagement, and a lot of time on my feet. The theme for yesterday was meant to be leadership. I wonder if I could justify my omission to blog by saying I was being busy leading by example, doing something needed for the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy team? I certainly was, and am still, rather tired.

And, of course, sometimes a requirement of leadership is knowing when not to do something….

Je ne regrette rein… (nor any missed accents)!
